King Hussein II (1935-1999) - 12 fils
This definitive postage stamp was issued by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in 1954 as part of a comprehensive definitive series introducing the portrait of the young King Hussein bin Talal to the public on everyday mail. Released shortly after his formal 1953 ascension to the throne, this series succeeded postal issues featuring his predecessor, King Talal, and his grandfather, King Abdullah I.
